Peptide Therapy

The Problem

Are you suffering from chronic fatigue, difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, hormone imbalance, weight loss resistance, poor concentration, lack of motivation, injuries, aging skin or not seeing the results from all your work in the gym??  Some symptoms or diseases can be attributed to declining peptide production, the body producing defective peptides or not producing a peptide at all. Insulin, for example, is a peptide that is not produced in people with insulin dependent diabetes.

Peptides may not be produced in the body at sufficient quantities at any age, but we also see the natural decline of specific peptides over time.  Growth hormone, for example, declines with age and leads to many of the symptoms associated with "getting older."

The Solution

Peptides are short chains of amino acids made by the body to regulate hormones, neurotransmitters, growth factors, metabolism and more.  The body produces over 7,000 identified peptides which work on a variety of target cells with very specific functions.  Peptide therapy can be used to restore or repair the body naturally through the specific signaling of receptors.  At this time there are nearly 60 peptides that have been approved by the FDA for use in humans.

Today we see peptides being used regularly in the treatment of specific diseases (such as diabetes), to improve physical performance, to manage metabolic health and to improve longevity and the effects of aging.  The most well known peptides being used today include semaglutide and tirzepetide to improve metabolic health and assist with weight management, but there are MANY more peptides available to improve health.

A new way of thinking

A new way of thinking about how to restore the body's natural function is by utilizing peptide therapies.

The targeted use of peptides can help rewire the body's chemistry to regenerate health.  By working on the body's natural receptors and signaling pathways, peptide therapy has the potential to revolutionize human health and healthcare delivery.  Keeping in mind that peptides are naturally occurring chains of amino acids that the body should be or already is making reminds us that we are simply unlocking the body's own healing power to restore health.

Before starting down the path of peptide therapy, a Foundational Health Panel is highly recommended.  Understanding your current basic nutritional, inflammatory, organ function and hormonal balance is essential to optimize your body's response to peptides.  To see optional male and female Foundational Health Panels, click on the link below.
